Description

Wifi AP gets torn down a few minutes after setup even though one client (iPad, smartphone, PC) is connected to it. Then the client fails to automatically reconnect. Manual reconnection attempts also fail as password is requested but gets rejected.

Please have a look at attached tests results file showing some figures related to this issue.

Tests conditions are: wifi activated by setting startAtInit parameter of wifi-rp-service-wifi-ap-default-config.json file to true, no badge reader, no start verb sent.

Meaning of figures:

First line: tests conditions
First column: time of reboot
Second column: number of minutes/seconds needed for the iPad to detect the AP
Third column: number of minutes/seconds needed for the iPad to connect to AP
Fourth column: web socket connection attempt, then disconnection
Fifth column: number of minutes/seconds for the iPad to lose connection to the AP
All times are relative to the reboot time.
On the third test the AP was detected but no connection after 15mn so I rebooted.

The tests were performed before new drivers were included in the redpesk image. Since the release of a new redpesk image initial connection after reboot is much quicker (around one minute). Unfortunately AP loss still occurs.
